Thoughtful Decision-Making

When you think of the word “procrastinator,” what comes to mind?

For many, this word elicits a sense of laziness or lack of urgency.

But it’s important to distinguish the difference between procrastination and thoughtful decision-making. Sometimes, our most important decisions require extra time to clear our minds before taking action.

On the 7:47 Podcast, CEO and Chairman of the Board for Moneta Group, Eric Kittner, shares his decision-making process with me—one that was often viewed by others as procrastination.

Though Eric admits he will often make last-minute, spontaneous decisions, he is far from someone who lacks a sense of urgency.

During Eric’s leadership, Moneta has grown to $24 billion in Assets Under Management and was ranked by Barron’s as Top 5 in the nation among independent Registered Investment Advisors for the last two years. Eric also led the firm through its first expansion market launch and RIA merger.

If that’s not enough, Eric’s also firmly committed to his team’s well-being and offers a Volunteer Time Off program for his employees. It’s no wonder they keep getting nominated as a “Best Place to Work”!
