People are Lonely and Disconnected

Whenever we get a team together for one of our gratitude experiences—regardless of where folks come from or the size of the group—one thing is always strikingly obvious from the start:

People are lonely and disconnected.

And it’s no surprise, given that our workforce is more stressed than ever.

What most people who come to our experiences don’t expect, however, is the magnitude of transformation that can happen by being in a community where gratitude is expressed and observed.

Since the start of the pandemic, we have hosted over 10,000 people in our virtual gratitude experiences.

In surveying participants, the top three emotions going into those events were: tired, anxious, and overwhelmed.

After our events, those answers changed: grateful, connected, and happy.

Gratitude doesn’t just change moods; it also has the power to radically transform individual, collective, and company missions.

It’s important for businesses to remain focused on their long-term priorities, but the secret ingredient to success—gratitude—cannot be left out.
