✓ Go Beyond the Status Quo
✓ Build Diverse Relationships
✓ Celebrate Our Differences
It all began over bowls of pasta, but the 7:47 Gratitude Experience™ has evolved since then. In 2020, we launched a virtual version to meet the needs of a world in lockdown. It’s been a huge success! Why?
For visionary leaders, gratitude is more than a sentiment; it's a strategy for economic expansion.
For organizations to truly grow and succeed, leaders must prioritize fostering genuine human interactions instead of dismissing them as insignificant.
Great leaders recognize that the economic potential of any successful team is not just in individual prowess but in their ability to connect, collaborate, and champion a shared vision.
We know it’s difficult bringing people together to create meaningful experiences, especially in a socially distanced world. The 7:47 Gratitude Experience™ is a unique and powerful way to connect with your team and inspire positive change. Our 99.8% success rate has left teams feeling grateful, connected, happy, joyous, inspired, wiser and lighter.
"Many of our employees said this was the best 90 minutes they've ever spent at Dell. I connected with someone that I had not before. It got deep and personal quick. We haven’t been able to connect like that, and people are really going through some things right now. The world is on fire right now and you're here to help them put out those fires."
- Erik Day, President and General Manager, North America Small Business, Dell Technologies
We take the emotional temperature in the room. Attendees share how they’re feeling in the moment. They might be tired, overwhelmed, curious, anxious. Those stories set the stage for the experience.
We move into break-out sessions, where the Facilitator encourages attendees to share with each other, in small groups. These are stressful times and this is a rare chance to have a meaningful conversation with a human outside their immediate family. After this, we come back and debrief as a group.
The Facilitator asks the whole group the Signature Gratitude Question: “If you could give credit or thanks to one person in your life who you don’t give enough credit or thanks to, who would that be?” Attendees can discuss the question in a safe small group. The Facilitator brings everyone back together and asks them to spend a minute writing down the values that person stood for, the person they feel gratitude toward.
In closing, the Facilitator compiles these values and leads the final group discussion connecting all the dots. Throughout the experience, attendees will follow the steps that define 7:47’s central philosophy on connections. Gratitude leads us to define our values. Our values shape our stories. Sharing our stories teaches us empathy. And with empathy comes greater, more fulfilling connections. Even after the event is over, the connections forged at this experience will only deepen and grow.
It arises when you open up to others and recognize the good parts of our shared humanity.
Through the 7:47 Gratitude Experience™, people experience the benefits of gratitude at two levels. As an individual, and as a group.
Individuals feel happier, more resilient and greater satisfaction with life. They have reduced burnout. They enjoy enhanced physical health through better sleep, muscle recovery and reduced inflammation.
Groups experience stronger relationships and increases pro-social behavior, job satisfaction, and productivity.
We've collected over 70,000 unique data points from our virtual experiences. Using this data, we can prove the positive emotional transformation that occurs through our Virtual 7:47 Gratitude Experience™.
Gratitude shifts you away from negative thoughts and behaviors to more positive ones. The experience broadens and builds social and mental resources. We know it's great for individuals and groups. More people are realizing it's also fantastic for business.
